Overview

Raised when a server result is malformed at the protocol level — e.g. its resultType is a value this client does not recognize, which MCP 2026-07-28 says MUST be considered invalid. A ServerError (not a TransportError) so it is never retried: the server processed the request and answered; re-sending would not produce a different shape.
