def help
  "\npuppet-doc(8) -- Generate Puppet documentation and references\n========\n\nSYNOPSIS\n--------\nGenerates a reference for all Puppet types. Largely meant for internal\nPuppet Labs use.\n\n\nUSAGE\n-----\npuppet doc [-a|--all] [-h|--help] [-o|--outputdir <rdoc-outputdir>]\n[-m|--mode text|pdf|rdoc] [-r|--reference <reference-name>]\n[--charset <charset>] [<manifest-file>]\n\n\nDESCRIPTION\n-----------\nIf mode is not 'rdoc', then this command generates a Markdown document\ndescribing all installed Puppet types or all allowable arguments to\npuppet executables. It is largely meant for internal use and is used to\ngenerate the reference document available on the Puppet Labs web site.\n\nIn 'rdoc' mode, this command generates an html RDoc hierarchy describing\nthe manifests that are in 'manifestdir' and 'modulepath' configuration\ndirectives. The generated documentation directory is doc by default but\ncan be changed with the 'outputdir' option.\n\nIf the command is run with the name of a manifest file as an argument,\npuppet doc will output a single manifest's documentation on stdout.\n\n\nOPTIONS\n-------\n* --all:\nOutput the docs for all of the reference types. In 'rdoc' mode, this also\noutputs documentation for all resources.\n\n* --help:\nPrint this help message\n\n* --outputdir:\nUsed only in 'rdoc' mode. The directory to which the rdoc output should\nbe written.\n\n* --mode:\nDetermine the output mode. Valid modes are 'text', 'pdf' and 'rdoc'. The 'pdf'\nmode creates PDF formatted files in the /tmp directory. The default mode is\n'text'. In 'rdoc' mode you must provide 'manifests-path'\n\n* --reference:\nBuild a particular reference. Get a list of references by running\n'puppet doc --list'.\n\n* --charset:\nUsed only in 'rdoc' mode. It sets the charset used in the html files produced.\n\n* --manifestdir:\nUsed only in 'rdoc' mode. The directory to scan for stand-alone manifests.\nIf not supplied, puppet doc will use the manifestdir from puppet.conf.\n\n* --modulepath:\nUsed only in 'rdoc' mode. The directory or directories to scan for modules.\nIf not supplied, puppet doc will use the modulepath from puppet.conf.\n\n* --environment:\nUsed only in 'rdoc' mode. The configuration environment from which\nto read the modulepath and manifestdir settings, when reading said settings\nfrom puppet.conf. Due to a known bug, this option is not currently effective.\n\n\nEXAMPLE\n-------\n $ puppet doc -r type > /tmp/type_reference.markdown\n\nor\n\n $ puppet doc --outputdir /tmp/rdoc --mode rdoc /path/to/manifests\n\nor\n\n $ puppet doc /etc/puppet/manifests/site.pp\n\nor\n\n $ puppet doc -m pdf -r configuration\n\n\nAUTHOR\n------\nLuke Kanies\n\n\nCOPYRIGHT\n---------\nCopyright (c) 2011 Puppet Labs, LLC Licensed under the Apache 2.0 License\n\n"
