Instance Attribute Details
#availability_domain ⇒ String
The subnet’s Availability Domain.
Example: ‘Uocm:PHX-AD-1`
19 20 21 |
# File 'lib/oraclebmc/core/models/subnet.rb', line 19 def availability_domain @availability_domain end |
#cidr_block ⇒ String
The subnet’s CIDR block.
Example: ‘172.16.1.0/24`
26 27 28 |
# File 'lib/oraclebmc/core/models/subnet.rb', line 26 def cidr_block @cidr_block end |

#dhcp_options_id ⇒ String
The OCID of the set of DHCP options associated with the subnet.
35 36 37 |
# File 'lib/oraclebmc/core/models/subnet.rb', line 35 def @dhcp_options_id end |
#display_name ⇒ String
A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it’s changeable.
39 40 41 |
# File 'lib/oraclebmc/core/models/subnet.rb', line 39 def display_name @display_name end |
#dns_label ⇒ String
A DNS label for the subnet, used in conjunction with the VNIC’s hostname and VCN’s DNS label to form a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) for each VNIC within this subnet (e.g., ‘bminstance-1.subnet123.vcn1.oraclevcn.com`). Must be an alphanumeric string that begins with a letter and is unique within the VCN. The value cannot be changed.
The absence of this parameter means the Internet and VCN Resolver will not resolve hostnames of instances in this subnet.
For more information, see [DNS in Your Virtual Cloud Network](docs.us-phoenix-1.oraclecloud.com/Content/Network/Concepts/dns.htm).
Example: ‘subnet123`
56 57 58 |
# File 'lib/oraclebmc/core/models/subnet.rb', line 56 def dns_label @dns_label end |
#id ⇒ String
The subnet’s Oracle ID (OCID).
60 61 62 |
# File 'lib/oraclebmc/core/models/subnet.rb', line 60 def id @id end |
#lifecycle_state ⇒ String

64 65 66 |
# File 'lib/oraclebmc/core/models/subnet.rb', line 64 def lifecycle_state @lifecycle_state end |
#prohibit_public_ip_on_vnic ⇒ BOOLEAN
Whether VNICs within this subnet can have public IP addresses. Defaults to false, which means VNICs created in this subnet will automatically be assigned public IP addresses unless specified otherwise during instance launch (with the ‘assignPublicIp` flag in CreateVnicDetails). If `prohibitPublicIpOnVnic` is set to true, VNICs created in this subnet cannot have public IP addresses (i.e., it’s a private subnet).
Example: ‘true`
