#generate_upload_url(request, options = nil) ⇒ ::Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::GenerateUploadUrlResponse #generate_upload_url(parent: nil) ⇒ ::Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::GenerateUploadUrlResponse

Returns a signed URL for uploading a function source code. For more information about the signed URL usage see: https://cloud.google.com/storage/docs/access-control/signed-urls. Once the function source code upload is complete, the used signed URL should be provided in CreateFunction or UpdateFunction request as a reference to the function source code.

When uploading source code to the generated signed URL, please follow these restrictions:

  • Source file type should be a zip file.
  • Source file size should not exceed 100MB limit.
  • No credentials should be attached - the signed URLs provide access to the target bucket using internal service identity; if credentials were attached, the identity from the credentials would be used, but that identity does not have permissions to upload files to the URL.

When making a HTTP PUT request, these two headers need to be specified:

  • content-type: application/zip
  • x-goog-content-length-range: 0,104857600

And this header SHOULD NOT be specified:

  • Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN

Examples:

Basic example

require "google/cloud/functions/v1"

# Create a client object. The client can be reused for multiple calls.
client = Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::CloudFunctionsService::Client.new

# Create a request. To set request fields, pass in keyword arguments.
request = Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::GenerateUploadUrlRequest.new

# Call the generate_upload_url method.
result = client.generate_upload_url request

# The returned object is of type Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::GenerateUploadUrlResponse.
p result

Overloads:

  • #generate_upload_url(request, options = nil) ⇒ ::Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::GenerateUploadUrlResponse

    Pass arguments to generate_upload_url via a request object, either of type GenerateUploadUrlRequest or an equivalent Hash.

    Parameters:

    • request (::Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::GenerateUploadUrlRequest, ::Hash)

      A request object representing the call parameters. Required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash.

    • options (::Gapic::CallOptions, ::Hash) (defaults to: nil)

      Overrides the default settings for this call, e.g, timeout, retries, etc. Optional.

  • #generate_upload_url(parent: nil) ⇒ ::Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::GenerateUploadUrlResponse

    Pass arguments to generate_upload_url via keyword arguments. Note that at least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).

    Parameters:

    • parent (::String) (defaults to: nil)

      The project and location in which the Google Cloud Storage signed URL should be generated, specified in the format projects/*/locations/*.

Yields:

  • (response, operation)

    Access the result along with the RPC operation

Yield Parameters:

Returns:

Raises:

  • (::Google::Cloud::Error)

    Parameters:

    • parent (::String) (defaults to: nil)

      The project and location from which the function should be listed, specified in the format projects/*/locations/* If you want to list functions in all locations, use "-" in place of a location. When listing functions in all locations, if one or more location(s) are unreachable, the response will contain functions from all reachable locations along with the names of any unreachable locations.

    • page_size (::Integer) (defaults to: nil)

      Maximum number of functions to return per call.

    • page_token (::String) (defaults to: nil)

      The value returned by the last ListFunctionsResponse; indicates that this is a continuation of a prior ListFunctions call, and that the system should return the next page of data.

#test_iam_permissions(request, options = nil) ⇒ ::Google::Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsResponse #test_iam_permissions(resource: nil, permissions: nil) ⇒ ::Google::Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsResponse

Tests the specified permissions against the IAM access control policy for a function. If the function does not exist, this will return an empty set of permissions, not a NOT_FOUND error.

Examples:

Basic example

require "google/cloud/functions/v1"

# Create a client object. The client can be reused for multiple calls.
client = Google::Cloud::Functions::V1::CloudFunctionsService::Client.new

# Create a request. To set request fields, pass in keyword arguments.
request = Google::Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsRequest.new

# Call the test_iam_permissions method.
result = client.test_iam_permissions request

# The returned object is of type Google::Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsResponse.
p result

Overloads:

  • #test_iam_permissions(request, options = nil) ⇒ ::Google::Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsResponse

    Pass arguments to test_iam_permissions via a request object, either of type Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsRequest or an equivalent Hash.

    Parameters:

    • request (::Google::Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsRequest, ::Hash)

Optional.

  • #test_iam_permissions(resource: nil, permissions: nil) ⇒ ::Google::Iam::V1::TestIamPermissionsResponse

    Pass arguments to test_iam_permissions via keyword arguments. Note that at least one keyword argument is required. To specify no parameters, or to keep all the default parameter values, pass an empty Hash as a request object (see above).

    Parameters:

    • resource (::String) (defaults to: nil)

      REQUIRED: The resource for which the policy detail is being requested. See the operation documentation for the appropriate value for this field.

    • permissions (::Array<::String>) (defaults to: nil)

      The set of permissions to check for the resource. Permissions with wildcards (such as '' or 'storage.') are not allowed. For more information see IAM Overview.

Yields:

  • (response, operation)

    Access the result along with the RPC operation

Yield Parameters:

Returns:

Raises:

  • (::Google::Cloud::Error)

    if the RPC is aborted.
