#enum(value, property = :name) ⇒ Object

Return the specified property of a value which is supposed to be an enum record. By default, uses :name. However, :description might be also useful for UI purposes.

Parameters:

  • value (Object)
  • property (Symbol) (defaults to: :name)

Returns:

  • (Object)
