Url-Resolver

UPDATE

I've noticed from this stackoverflow article that you can actually use Ruby's URI library to resolve paths:

absolute_uri = URI.join(page_url, href).to_s

This gem was created quickly as part of another project and I missed this fact.

So consider this gem as deprecated.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'url-resolver'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install url-resolver

Usage

To resolve a partial file path use:

UrlResolver.resolve(page_url, href)
