TimeCop
Welcome to your new gem! In this directory, you'll find the files you need to be able to package up your Ruby library into a gem. Put your Ruby code in the file lib/time_cop
. To experiment with that code, run bin/console
for an interactive prompt.

Installation
$ gem install time_cop
If you are using rbenv, retstart your terminal or run:
$ rbenv rehash
And then execute:
$ time_cop
Usage
Simple Usage
$ time_cop [email protected] --password=super_secret_password
Interactive Mode
This is an interactive mode which prompt you for report options.
$ time_cop -i
Interactive mode supports the following ENV
variables which will autofill the prompts:
HARVEST_USERNAME
your username. You can set it$ export HARVEST_USERNAME="[email protected]"
HARVEST_PASSWORD
your password. You can set it$ export HARVEST_PASSWORD="secret_password"
HARVEST_HOURS_PER_WEEK
your hours per week. You can set it$ export HARVEST_HOURS_PER_WEEK="34.0"
Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake test
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To run the local development copy on your machine, run $ ruby -Ilib ./exe/time_cop
To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
