Scriptcam::Rails

ScriptCam is a popular JQuery plugin to manipulate webcams. Take snapshots, detect movement, faces, colors, QR and barcodes, record videoclips, show Augmented Reality 3D objects and organize videochats.

By the way, it's free for non-commercial use!

Usage

This gem vendors ScriptCam 1.6.0 for Rails 4 and greater. The files will be added to the asset pipeline and available for you to use.

To enable, add the following line to the file app/assets/javascripts/application.js (or other sprockets manifest):

//= require scriptcam

Installation

Add scriptcam-rails to your Gemfile, run bundle and enjoy!
