Overview

The Meta class describes meta data of the database. These include information on what coordinate system is mapping on another one and which patches are applied.

This class should normally not be used by the end user, but is used internally.

This class uses ActiveRecord to access data in the Ensembl database. See the general documentation of the Ensembl module for more information on what this means and what methods are available.
