What is it?
Roger is your friendly front-end development toolbox! It helps you with these 4 things:
- Generate : Set up your projects
- Serve : Development server
- Test : Test/lint your stuff
- Release : Release your code
We assume you have a working Ruby 1.9.x or higher running.
gem install roger
Create a new project
roger generate new PROJECT_DIR
PROJECT_DIRwith your project name
Start the development server
Open your webbrowser and go to
Release your project

When we started with Roger there was no Grunt/Gulp/whatever and with us being a Ruby shop we wrote Roger. Since its beginning it has evolved into quite a powerful tool.
Why would Roger be better than any other? It's not it just does some things differently.
