RocksDB

The rocksdb is a persistent in-process key-value store.

This gem contains Ruby bindings so that you can use it from your Ruby process.

Installation

First install rocksdb.

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'rocksdb-ruby'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install rocksdb-ruby

Usage

require "RocksDB"

key = "test"
value = "1"
rockdb = RocksDB.new "/tmp/file"
rockdb.put(key, value)
new_value = rockdb.get(key)
rockdb.delete(key)
rockdb.close
