Profanity

Profanity gem checks to see if the text contains profanity. This also check text without spaces and with extra characters like word$word or word-word.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'profanity'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install profanity

Usage

Simply in your code call: Profanity.check("sample text") and this will return true or false

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake test to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
