libretto

a CLI for obtaining lyrics through azlyrics.

installing

$ gem install libretto

usage

You can get the lyrics displayed in your terminal pretty easily

$ libretto "The Only Place" "Best Coast"

You can also open the lyrics page instead of having it print in your terminal

$ libretto "I’m a Cuckoo" "Belle And Sebastian" -o

Or, if for whatever reason you want to, you can just have the URL of the lyrics page printed in your terminal - also..

$ libretto "White Room" "Cream" -url

You can also check how many times a certain word is said in a song

$ libretto "Sweatpants" "Childish Gambino" "nigga"

thing i should probably add

• [ ] if the URL does not actually exist, tell the user

also..

i'm still working on it, but if you attempt to get a song's URL with -url and the lyrics are not available for that song, you will get an error, as well as what the URL would be if the song existed
