Short description and motivation.

Usage

• Install Gem
• Add Rails.application.config.assets.precompile += %w(google_analytics_chrome_developer_cookie/ga.js) to config/initializers/assets.rb
• = javascript_include_tag 'google_analytics_chrome_developer_cookie/ga' where you want to track visitors (usually your application layout)

Configure the following environment variables:

• DEV_COOKIE: Your dev cookie set with the Developer Cookie Chrome Plugin
• DEV_COOKIE_HOSTNAME: Domain name of your app (ie test-app.com or www.test-app.com)
• GOOGLE_ANALYTICS_ID: Your Gooogle Analytics ID

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'google_analytics_chrome_developer_cookie'

And then execute:

$ bundle install

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install google_analytics_chrome_developer_cookie
