Fixingthenet::Installer

This gem provides some tools to (un)install, check and fixing-the-net apps in the system.

Installation

Installation:

$ gem install fixingthenet-installer

Usage

$ ftn install -p 9004 my_app

or $ ftn uninstall -p 9004 my_app

this copies the needed templates into the system and start the app.

TODO

Lots! This is a first scratch. More is needed:

  • code reorg
  • sidekiq in init.d file
  • status
  • monit
  • global config file /etc/fixingthenet/installer.json
  • env support
  • use meta files of plugins for installation

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release to create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
