Etti - a Label Editor for Linux

Etti is a editor to create and print labels of all kind. It is specially made to create bigger amounts of labels within just a few simple steps. This also includes printing of Barcodes and QR-Codes. QR-Codes are already implemented, Barcodes not.
how to install
Etti comes as a RubyGem from http://rubygems.org/. Just install it with
~$sudo gem install etti
Now you can start Etti from a terminal with the command etti
If you want to install a cloned copy from github.com you first have to create the gem package with
~$gem build etti.gemspec
~$sudo gem install etti-"version".gem

If you are a label manufacturer and want to see your labels supported in Etti, fork the project, include your label data and then send me a pull request. Otherwise you can also send me a package of every label type you want to have supported for measuring and testing. My address you will get on request.
