EngineModel

EngineModel allows you to keep a Rails Engine's model functionality when you override the model in your main application.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'engine_model'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install engine_model

Usage

Its simple just add the following to any ActiveModel class!

MyClass < ActiveRecord::Base

  load_from_engine MyEngine

end
