Capistrano::RubyVersion

Enforces that the ruby version on the deployer side is the same as the ruby version on the server.

Installation

gem 'capistrano-ruby_version', require: false

Configuration

In your Capfile:

# Enforce ruby version match
require 'capistrano/ruby_version'

And in your deploy.rb

# Setting it to false will cause cap to _not_ abort if the versions don't match,
# but merely print a warning instead.
# Defaults to true.
# set :force_ruby_version, true

after 'deploy:starting', 'deploy:check:ruby'
