Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'bool_at'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install bool_at

Usage

bool_at converts timestamps time_at methods into boolean

Add bool_at to your model

class Post < ActiveRecord::Base
  bool_at :published_at
end

These methods will be available

post = Post.new
post.published? #=> false

post.published = true
post.published? #=> true
post.published_at #=> Will be set when published was assigned true

It also adds scope to your Rails model.

Post.published
Post.not_published
Post.order_published
Post.reverse_published

Methods

It adds and ? method to your timestamps without _at prefix
