Cli::Data::Gem

This gem enables you to browse the Beer Advocate website (beeradvocate.com) in a CLI.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'beer-advocate-cli-gem'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install beer-advocate-cli-gem

Usage

• ~ Mac Terminal installation not working...any input highly appreciated... ~

If using the Mac Terminal app, ensure Xcode is installed:

xcode-select --install

Then type:

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"

brew install ruby

sudo gem install beer-advocate-cli -n /usr/local/bin

• ~ ~

To run the CLI, simply type 'beer-advocate'.

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
