GDAL must be installed:

Mac: NOTE: Add other flags, e.g. --with-postgresql, as desired

To read from a known file type (currently SHP, JSON/GeoJSON, CSV, raw Github GeoJSON URL, raw (spatial) CSV URL, Esri Feature Service URL):
