Features/Problems

  • remove not allowed `tags' ( not elements )
  • remove all attributes
  • remove comment
  • leave white spaces

If you give this script a non-html document, I don't know what happens :-)

Synopsis

$ xls_html_cleaner SRC_HTML > DEST_HTML $ cat SRC_HTML | xls_html_cleaner
