Hit counter Rack Middleware using Memcached

Installation

$ gem install rack-counter --source http://gemcutter.org

Setup

use Rack::Counter
use Rack::Counter, :namespace => 'mynamespace'

Usage

GET /_stats.json
200 OK {"hits":415,"avg_per_sec":"0.5773"}

Note on Patches/Pull Requests

  • Fork the project.

  • Make your feature addition or bug fix.

  • Add tests for it. This is important so I don’t break it in a future version unintentionally.

  • Commit, do not mess with Rakefile or VERSION.
