DESCRIPTION:

A rails engine for OpenID/Omniauth that writes to ActiveRecord for the OpenID data. Forked from an old project by Kazuyoshi Tlacaelel.

FEATURES/PROBLEMS:

  • Simple

  • Lowish test coverage

  • Binary column may not work well with some adapters

SYNOPSIS:

rake openid_active_record_store:install:migrations
rake db:migrate

# Omniauth example:
Rails.application.config.middleware.use(
  OmniAuth::Strategies::GoogleApps,
  OpenID::Store::ActiveRecord.new,
  { :name => 'example', :domain => 'example.org' }
)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Rails 3+

  • OpenID

  • gem install openid_active_record_store
