Mongo Storage plugin for Fluent

fluent-plugin-storage-mongo is a fluentd plugin to store plugin state into mongodb.

Prerequisite

  • MongoDB 3.0 or later.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'fluent-plugin-storage-mongo'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install fluent-plugin-storage-mongo

Configuration

Use mongo type in storage.

<storage>
  @type mongo
  database fluent
  collection test

  # Following attibutes are optional
  host fluenter
  port 10000

  # Set 'capped true' if you want to use capped collection
  capped true
  capped_size 100m

  # Set 'user' and 'password' for authentication
  user mongo
  password passw0rd
</storage>

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in fluent-plugin-storage-mongo.gemspec, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
